Information on advertising in MCAI publications

MCA-I, formerly ITVA, has a rich history in Atlanta, throughout the U.S. and abroad, serving media professionals. The MCA-I has more than 1200 members and 36 chapters currently. The Atlanta Chapter meets each month on the 3rd Thursday. Please take a look at the Atlanta Chapter website for more information: http://www.mcaiatlanta.org/

In an effort to raise money for the general fund for the organization, we are inviting sponsors to partner with us. The cost of the sponsorship is $1,250, and in exchange each sponsor will get the following benefits:

  1. 28 X 38 easel signage displayed at all meetings
  2. Table signs where hors d’ oeuvres are served at each meeting
  3. Logo placement on our local website
  4. Logo placement on all announcements to all Members, Board and Executive Committee – minimum of 50 sent via email per year
  5. A 12 – 15 minute presentation at one of the general session meetings
  6. Announcements at each meeting encouraging members to use the services of the Sponsors

The money is used to cover the cost of catering, and other general purpose expenditures. The meeting begins with some networking and an introduction; we review general meeting points, and then have a presenter. The presenters are given roughly 12-15 minutes to presents the services and products of their companies. This is a good opportunity to get in front of a very specific group of media professionals. The sponsorship is valid for a period of one year, after which time you will be given first right to renew.

John Osgood

As a boy, John Osgood was enthralled by the maze of wires, the glow of tubes, and the array of other parts inside the family’s stereo console and television. He remembers many trips with his father to use the tube testers at nearby drugstores. His father gave him a two-transistor radio kit from Radio Shack for his birthday one year. When he was ten, he got a Radio Shack AM radio kit with five tubes. He and his father spent several weeks putting it together and it worked perfectly.
